REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS EXPANSION OF ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

The Alcorn School District is seeking proposals for expanding a Paxton Net2 access control

system for its facilities. The purpose of the system is to enhance the security of our schools and

to provide a safe environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

The district invites qualified firms to submit proposals for the supply, installation, and

maintenance of access control systems. Proposals must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M.

on Thursday, May 4, and may be submitted via mail, hand delivery, or electronically through

the district's bidding website at www.alcornschoolsbids.com.

The proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 2PM, and

will be evaluated based on the following criteria: price, quality of proposed system, experience

and qualifications of the bidder, and proposed timeline for installation.

Specifications and proposal forms may be obtained at www.alcornschoolsbids.com or in person

at the Administrative Office of the Alcorn School District, located at 31 CR 401, Corinth, MS

Mailed or hand-delivered proposals should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope

"ASD ACCESS CONTROL PROJECT 2023" and delivered to the Alcorn School District at 31 CR 401,

Corinth, MS 38834. Electronic proposals should be submitted through the district's bidding

website at www.alcornschoolsbids.com.

The Alcorn School District reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals or any groups

thereof and waive any defect or informality in any proposal or bidding procedure.
